Description

I have updated the scene based on the crits i got from a lot of you (thanx).
I have been working on Textures, more destruction, more cars, bubbles, dof, fog, algee, billboards and a subway station plus some other details..
I hope you like the changes.

Last i would like to say that this flood theme is pure fiction, what happent this christmas in asia was for real! I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the tsunami victims.
Support Asia.

From one Dane (albeit it a couple generations back) to another... awesome.

Sort of a "Sky Captain-Shark Tales" crossover, but with attitude.

Extremely nice!!! Shame is, it probably won't get a lot of attention here because it's 3D.

very nice idea!, but I think you should give things a little more "thrashy" look, for exampel: the buildings could have some more scratches, damages.. maybe som seaweed here and there. Then from the boring perspective of reality, which has nothing to do with the points i'm going to give you.. the windows would never hold for that kindof watermass. =D.

Well It's your idea. Maybe it has happened recently and then the building should be exactly as they are, =) so finally, i'll give you a 7/7.
(oh my, guess I had the feeling to write a little =D)

Thanks all,...

@dissolved: Sorry, i didn´t write the story behind the picture.
The mechfishies has melted the poles over a period of time slowly flooding the world and gaining world domination, people has moved out of the cities as the water was rising, the buildings has sustained only little damage, but some rioting and looting has taken place. all glass is destroyed from ground level to about 20 meters up from there partly broken.
This scene takes place shortly after the flooding, the bubbles are coming from leaking gaspipes in the subway/underground and algee is slowly attaching to surfaces.
thats about it ~:0

@RBMK: He He,. flattered, i'll think about it.. ;)

whats the grey line starting above the fish "eyebrows" and ending at the tails? looks like a missing texture or something like that... maybe you could let it emit a faint light just like the eyes.

great work overall!!! Especially like the superb lighting, 5/5
